This first one I have chose is called Touch. Music plays throughout the whole film a part from the very ending this made it very peaceful and built up the moment at the end very well. I particularly like this one as it was showing a couple falling in love and the moments through there life they spend together. It shows important memorable life parts including having a baby, raising the baby, getting engaged, getting married, growing old together etc. Towards the ending the music faded off and it shows the woman has grown old, her husband looks like he's passed away and her granddaughter comes round and meets a painter that is painting her grandmas house. This shows them meeting and the idea of meeting someone all over again which links in with the title of the short film as it shows touching each other shows lots of emotion and care for one on other within the film.

The Birthday Party
In a group of 4 we were asked to produce a photograph to tell a story of a birthday scene and what the genre was. The photo presented here that we took shows a sadness genre of an old man celebrating his own birthday. In this photo we used various props to show that it was a birthday scene, hence the balloons and birthday cake which helped to show this.
This second photo is the same photo however we have edited so it looks more like the suited genre. The black and white connotes how upset the man is and as he has his head down this expresses the sorrow of the man. We used the black and white effect and also adjusted the brightness settings so the photo wasn't dark and so you could see the reflected low-key lighting coming through behind the man.
